[visionlist] Openings for Researchers and Software Developers at Research Center Juelich (Germany)Posted: December 2, 2016
The Institute “INM-1 – Structural and Functional Organisation of the Brain“ of the Research Centre in Jülich/Germany develops a 3-D model of the human brain which considers cortical architecture, connectivity, genetics and function.
As a major partner in the European Commission Future and Emerging Technologies Flagship „Human Brain Project (HBP)“, we aim to put in place a cutting-edge, ICT-based scientific Research Infrastructure for brain research, cognitive neuroscience and brain-inspired computing. Our role in the project focuses on collecting, integrating and analyzing strategic multi-level data on human brains, and co-designing the development of the neuroinformatics and high performance analytics and computing platforms. In this respect, we work in close cooperation with neuroscientists, software architects and HPC experts in different research institutes across Europe.
We are looking to recruit
Researchers / computing analysts in the field of brain research
Frontend developer for visualization of neuroscientific data
