[visionlist] International Conference on Cognitive Science (ICCS), September 1 – 3, 2017 in Taipei, Taiwan (Abstract Submission Deadline: April 10th, 2017)

Dear Vision colleagues,

Greetings! This is Gary Shyi from National Chung Cheng University in Chiayi, Taiwan.  My colleagues and I are delighted to let you know that the forthcoming International Conference on Cognitive Science (ICCS 2017) will be held in Taipei, Taiwan, September 1 – 3, 2017.

In addition to keynote speeches delivered by Drs./Professors S. Dehaene (Collège de France, France), E. Poppel (Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Germany), and L-G Chen (Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan), the organizing committee has organized 6 symposia and invited many distinguished scholars, including Patricia S. Churchland, Larry Young, Brian Butterworth, etc. to discuss important issues in areas of Consciousness, Social Neuroscience, Neuroplasticity in language learning, Perception and Media Technology, Decision making and Mathematical cognition (for details, please click on conference official website at http://iccs2017.conf.tw).  Moreover, we welcome submissions from all areas of cognitive science(s) to make ICCS 2017 an exciting event for exchanging the latest research ideas and results of cognitive science.

I am writing to kindly ask for your assistance to also distribute and disseminate the information regarding ICCS2017 to your colleagues in the larger community of Cognitive Science as we would much like to see as many submission and participation from interested colleagues as possible. Hopefully many of your colleagues will decide to submit their research work before the latest extended deadline (April 10th, 2017) and join us in Taiwan later this year.

Please allow me to thank you and express our deep appreciation for your help in this matter. Should you have any questions and/or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

With best wishes,

Gary Shyi

President, IACS &

Chair of Organizing Committee, ICCS 2017
